After shooting

After shooting all the shots that we needed, we then went to the editing suite and tried putting them together. Whilst editing, we realised that not all of the shots were very useful, and so we cut some of them out. We noticed that every shot had to explain or tell the audience something about the film or the main character within the film, ie. the girl, in our case.
We edited all the pictures together first before we started on the sound. We put in additional credits at the beginning and also our main title, The Missing. Also, as we filmed outside in patchy cloud weather, we found out that we had slight problem with lighting continuity that we needed to sort out whilst editing.
After this, we could then go on to editing together the sound with the picture. Our music, which i found off limewire by typing in Horror, is a classic horror tune; starting off dark and slow, then with the addition of high violins over the top. After adding this to the picture edit, I found that it really brought the opening to life and gave it that tension that all horror films should have.
